Since her spring wedding to Prince Harry back in 2018, every detail about what Meghan wore has been revealed, from her Givenchy dress, to her Edgardo Osorio shoes and her stunning Stella McCartney evening gown.

However, the details about Meghan’s blush manicure had remained a secret. Yesterday, Vogue exclusively lifted the lid on the exact nail shades the Duchess of Sussex wore on her big day.

Along with every discerning manicure addict, the Duchess of Sussex trusted the one and only DryBy London to create a bespoke bridal blend. Already a favourite with brides around the country, DryBy are known for their precision application, long-lasting shellac and popular nail art designs.

Vogue reveals that the bride wore CND Shellac, with one layer of Unmasked and two coats of Negligee on her fingers, and two coats of Cashmere Wrap on her toes.

This might not seem like a big deal, but you’ll rarely see a British royal wearing a bold shade of nail polish as a neutral-toned manicure is one of the many royal protocols senior members of the family, like Kate and the Queen, adhere to.

The shades Meghan opted for were not in keeping with royal tradition and instead resulted in a milky, pinky colour. The opaque finish is a very different look to the usual sheer polishes favoured by the Queen – who is believed to be a fan of Essie’s Ballet Slippers, and other royal brides.

Personally we love the idea of creating your very own blend – whether you’re getting married or not!
