The Duchess of Sussex swapped her smart-casual daywear for an elegant bespoke gown by Dior for an evening reception in Morocco.

She and Harry attended the formal party at the British Residence in Rabat, after a day of engagements.

The duchess, 37, who is around seven months pregnant, looked stunning in the cream kaftan-style ensemble by the French couture house, with a flattering draped neckline and a beaded trim on the sleeves.

She teamed it with a matching gold clutch bag by Dior and pointed metallic court shoes. Her Birks Snowstorm earrings added the finishing touches to her look.

Harry, 34, opted for a navy suit and dark green tie as he and his wife met with military representatives and a group of young female entrepreneurs.

Earlier today, the couple visited the ‘Education For All’ boarding house in the Atlas Mountains, in Asni town, which has given girls from the poorest villages and most remote areas of Morocco access to secondary education.

A Henna ceremony was also performed on the Duchess of Sussex, which is a Moroccan tradition for pregnant women. It’s used to bring luck for weddings, impending births and other celebrations. Meghan is set to give birth in April or May.

Harry also presented Michael McHugo, the founder of ‘Education For All’ with his MBE, for services to improving gender equality in education in Morocco.

Meghan and Harry also stopped off at Lycée Collegial Le Grand Atlas, a secondary school in the Atlas Mountains, where they watched students play in a football match.

The duchess donned a £395.34 navy Alice + Olivia roll cuff blazer, with a simple black sweater, her Hatch skinny jeans and a pair of flats by Birdies.

She later swapped her sweater for a silk blouse from Canadian brand Aritzia and a pair of Manolo Blahnik polka dot detail slingbacks.

The couple arrived in Morocco on Saturday night, an hour behind schedule, with Meghan wearing a red caped Valentino dress, paying tribute to the country’s flag.

On Monday, they’re set to visit the Moroccan Royal Federation of Equestrian Sports in Rabat and then a cooking demonstration, where children from under-privileged backgrounds in the area will learn traditional recipes.
