Woah, nobody panic but... there might actually be too much royal energy going on up in here?! As Beyoncé (aka Queen Bey herself) gave Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex, a birthday shout-out to celebrate her fortieth, and included the sweetest throwback snap of Meghan to boot. We love, love, love to see it!

Using her own website as the shout-out platform, Beyoncé (who met Prince Harry and Meghan back in 2019 at London's premiere of The Lion King movie) kept the tribute short and sweet. Posting an adorable photo of Meghan as a young girl, sporting the cutest headband and puff-sleeve dress, Beyoncé's page also boasted the words 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEGHAN MARKLE'.

The kind note isn't the first time that Bey has made her appreciation of The Duchess known either, as when she and husband Jay-Z won the 2019 Brit Award for Best International Group they sent a pre-recorded acceptance speech, recreating their Ape Shit video by standing in front of a portrait of Meghan wearing a crown (as opposed to the Mona Lisa).

Holding the trophy aloft, Beyoncé said in the video, "Thank you so much to the BRIT Awards for this incredible honour. You guys have always been so supportive. Everything is love."

Over on Instagram, alongside an image of herself and Jay-Z in front of the Meghan portrait, Beyoncé also wished the Duchess well in her pregnancy (with Archie) at the time.

"Thank you to the Brits for the award for Best International Group. I won this award back in 2002 with my besties, Kelly and Michelle," she wrote. "How lucky am I to have been in a group with my other best friend, the GOAT Hova. 🙌🏾 In honor of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy."

On her website, Beyoncé also gave two other birthday shout-outs to prominent public figures who share the same special day as Meghan: none other than former President of the United States, Barack Obama, who turned 60, and actor Michael Ealy, 48.

We're so here for the idea of a friendship between Beyoncé and Meghan! Sorry, but can you just imagine Archie and little Blue Ivy running around in the back garden of Harry and Meghan's Montecito home... and growing up to form a musical supergroup together? It would be everything.
