Meghan Markle will give her first interview on Sunday (June 20) since welcoming her second child with Prince Harry, daughter Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.

Omid Scbobie, Royal Editor at Harper's Bazaar US, confirmed the interview in a tweet on Friday (June 18).

"Fresh off the heels of her first children’s book becoming a certified #1 New York Times bestseller, Duchess Meghan will be giving her only interview about #TheBench to @samanthabalaban at the renowned @NPRWeekend show, this Sunday between 8am-10am Eastern," Scbobie tweeted.

On the radio show, the Duchess of Sussex will discuss the success of her first book, The Bench. Meghan previously described The Bench as an exploration of the "special relationship between father and son," and revealed the project started as a Father's Day poem for Prince Harry. The interview on Sunday coincides with Father's Day.

Meghan has kept a relatively low profile since the birth of Lilibet, who was born on June 4. But she recently gave fans an insight into her life at home in a foreword for animal charity, Mayhew's annual review.

The Duchess penned a heartfelt message about the “solace and comfort” she gets from her own pets, a Labrador named Pula and a Beagle named Guy.

"Over the last year, each of us have felt the profound effects of the global Covid-19 pandemic," she wrote, "We may have been forced apart, but we found new ways to be close and to support each other through this shared crisis. For many of us, this was made all the easier with our pets by our side."

Meghan has been a patron of the charity since January 2019.
