Meghan Markle’s friend took to Instagram this weekend to share a sneak peek at her upcoming children’s book, revealing it contains a sweet drawing of Prince Harry and son Archie.

On Friday (June 4), Gray Malin, a photographer and close friend to Meghan, posted a pic of the book to his Instagram Story. In the photo we can see a handwritten note from Meghan, as well as the drawing. The note reads; “From one parent to another - all my love from my family to yours. As ever, Meghan.”

The book, titled The Bench, focuses on the special bond between father and son, as seen through the mother’s eyes. The Bench has been illustrated by award-winning artist Christian Robinson, and is due for release on June 8.

In a statement about the book, Meghan explained; “The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father's Day, the month after Archie was born. That poem became this story."

"My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the makeup, as much as it does with mine,” she added.

And, when it comes to family, Meghan has a busy few weeks ahead. Along with the book launch, she and Prince Harry are expecting their second child, a daughter due this summer.

While we don’t know the baby’s exact due date, royal fans suspect the birth could be any day now, given that in April Meghan was already too far along in her pregnancy to fly in for Prince Philip’s funeral.

The royal baby countdown is officially on.
