Though they may share a close relationship, Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton's take on duchess style is often complete different. While Kate typically sticks to a more classic and traditional wardrobe, Meghan has so far embraced a more modernized look infused with her West Coast roots. The latest display of their contrasting style comes from the sister-in-laws' different takes on theater attire.

For a live performance of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Hamilton tonight in London, Meghan looked insanely chic in a sleek black tuxedo dress by Judith & Charles. But her style for a night out at the theater greatly differed from the Duchess of Cambridge's. Kate also attended a live musical performance on London's West End last year (though she saw 42nd Street instead of Hamilton) and went an entirely different route in an elegant crimson midi dress by Marchesa.

Putting her own twist on the classic tuxedo, Meghan's little black dress showed off her bronzed legs while retaining a polished and elegant feel. The Duchess of Cambridge opted for more of a romantic look, however, in a flared tea-length dress and loose wavy hair.

Despite the fact that Kate and Meghan each have their own distinct style, the two royals have also worn incredibly similar outfits on more than one occasion. From elegant white coats to tartan prints and blush dresses, the duo has had some surprising twinning moments.

But whether they're matching or going in completely opposite style directions, these two have mastered the art of keeping us all interested in what they're wearing.
