Meghan Markle's brother slams royal-to-be in scathing interview ahead of royal wedding

Meghan Markle's half-brother Thomas Markle, Jr., is calling out the princess-to-be in a scathing new interview in which he alleges that she's putting on an act as she prepares to enter into the British royal family.

Speaking candidly with the Daily Mirror, Thomas said that "Meghan likes to portray herself as a humanitarian, a people's person and a charitable person, but she is none of those things to her family."

"Maybe the normal American family she has is embarrassing to her because we're not producers or executive producers," he hypothesized. "There’s a whole different side of her that has started to surface and it’s ugly to see."

Markle is famously estranged from most of her family, other than her mother, Doria Ragland, and her father, Thomas Markle, Sr., with only her parents being invited to her upcoming May 19 wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor Castle.

"I’ve read that Meg wants to be like Diana. Diana was worshipped by everyone in the world. She was loved for the right reasons," her brother went on. "That’s what Meg wants, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. She’s not genuine like Diana."

He added that he's "not bitter, just baffled" at his lack of an invitation to the upcoming royal wedding and called it "hurtful given how close we once were."

"She has forgotten her flesh and blood," he went on, revealing that he hasn't seen her in person in nearly seven years -- since late 2011. He also revealed that he only started speaking out after his sister, Samantha, slammed Meghan in a series of scathing interviews in the fall, around the time her engagement with Harry was announced to the public.

"Trying to put a lid on Samantha and get her to be quiet backfired and started a rift of insults. It has torn my entire family apart," Thomas explained. "None of us has heard a word from Meg and what with all that has been said no longer do I speak to Samantha or my two sons."

Though nothing has been confirmed, conflicting reports claim that Meghan Markle will be walked down the aisle in St. George's Chapel next month by her father or her mother.
