Prince Harry shares sweet birthday message to 'amazing wife' Meghan Markle as duchess turns 38

Meghan Markle is celebrating her first birthday as a mom, and her doting husband Prince Harry isn’t going to let the occasion pass by unnoticed.

In a sweet tribute to the duchess, who turned 38 on Sunday, Harry penned a personal message on their shared Instagram page.

“Happy birthday to my amazing wife,” he wrote. “Thank you for joining me on this adventure! Love, H.”

Both Harry and Meghan have copped flak in the past for their birthday messages to other members of the royal family, so it remains to be seen how birthday wishes to the duchess will be received by the public.

Safe to say, however, that fans of the Sussexes enjoyed the post and have been flooding it with plenty of heartfelt well wishes.

“So lovely to read a private message from the prince!” one person wrote, while another said, “Harry, I’m so glad that Meghan joined you on this adventure too.”

Others heaped praise on the duchess, calling her “the most amazing woman and my biggest inspiration in this world” and “so beautiful inside and out.”

“What an inspiring modern role model you are,” read one comment. “Keep doing the great work and making that difference together with Prince Harry by your side.”\

The former actress also received birthday messages from her royal in-laws.
