You know the expression 'Never work with children or animals'? It might be one that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be taking a bit more seriously in future, after one of their dogs ever so casually video-bombed them during a new clip. In the footage, the Sussexes can be seen dressed smartly and addressing the camera as part of their being named as part of this year's TIME 100 list.

Given the nature of the awards, it's all a bit serious. Harry opens the video by saying, "Thank you, TIME, for including us in this very special evening and congratulations to this year's transformative leaders and change makers. You work tirelessly to create a better world, a better global community for all of us and we thank you, and celebrate you, tonight."

Meghan continues on to say, "You're playing a critical role for that of our children and our future" before discussing the importance of community and changing the way we interact with one another online, as it impacts with how we engage with others in person. It's shortly after that, at around the 45 second mark, that the couple's black Labrador, Pula, emerges from the bushes and has a casual sniff around the garden. Cute!

We love how unaware the pooch is, as he wanders across the shot and Meghan and Harry continue their serious address, which then goes on to discuss politics. They both mention the upcoming election in America and how it's a time for change, with Harry adding that he's unable to vote and has never been allowed to do so in the UK either.

Back to the dog though: up until recently, the name of their black Lab was kept tightly under wraps, but was revealed as part of the new unofficial biography, Finding Freedom, all about the Sussex's choice to leave royal life behind.

The name they chose for the pup, Pula, is thought to hold a very special meaning for the couple – pula is the official currency of Botswana, the country in Africa that Harry whisked Meghan off to, shortly after they started dating. The word itself also means 'rain' in Setswana — which (given its rarity) is viewed as a blessing and extremely valuable in Botswana.

Congratulations to Meghan and Harry for making the list (and owning such an adorable pet)!
