Megan Thee Stallion has been tapped to front the advertising campaign for Coach's second collaboration with Bape.
The New York-based fashion house first teamed up with the Japanese streetwear brand, also known as A Bathing Ape, for a collection last year and now they've partnered up again for another drop.
For the accompanying campaign, the Hot Girl Summer star posed for photographer Sandy Kim on a New York rooftop wearing a grey and black bucket hat, cropped hoodie and shorts bearing the new, limited-edition print, which blends Coach's signature 'C' pattern with the Bape logo. Other shots also show her in a photography studio, posing with her dogs wearing covers bearing the same print.
Sharing the latter snaps on Instagram, the rapper wrote, "Thee Hot Dog mom and my boys in @coach since they love tearing up s**t they had to get a job (laughing emoji) #BAPExCOACH collab dropping next weekend (fire emoji) #coachny."
Megan is joined in the campaign by rapper and singer Cordae and Japanese model and songwriter Kōki. In addition to posing for the campaign, the trio also filmed a video in which they have a conversation about how they express their personalities.
The Coach x Bape collection, which goes on sale from 24 July, features ready-to-wear clothing, leather goods, footwear and accessories which fuse the craftsmanship of Coach with the streetwear vibe of Bape.
The WAP star began her relationship with Coach in September 2019 when she made her front row debut at its spring/summer 2020 show at New York Fashion Week. She was then tapped to star in its 2019 holiday campaign - her first major fashion campaign - that November.
