Love Island star Megan Baron-Hanson has opened up about sliding into fellow islander, Maura Higgins' DMs. And sadly, getting aired.

In a candid chat with Heat and co-star Jack Fincham, Megan praised Maura, saying, "I think she's stunning, I think she's a powerful, strong woman" (via The Mirror).

She admitted that she wasn't sure of Maura's sexual orientation, saying, "I don't know if she's bi. But hopefully one day." Thankfully, Jack (who is dating TOWIE star Frankie Sims) assured Megan he'd "put in a good word" for her. Because what are friends (and allies) for?

Megan then admitted that she'd slid into Maura's DMs, saying ,"I've slid in her DMs and got nothing." I mean, we've all been there.

When Jack asked her about the content of this brave DM, Megan elaborated,"I don't know. Maybe I just sent an emoji, just dipping the toe in. Got absolutely aired!"

Once again being a supportive mate, Jack reassured Megan, "She'd be up for it!"

This isn't the first time Megan's expressed her admiration for Maura either.

In an interview with The Tab last year, Megan admitted that that if she could date any woman from any series of Love Island, it would be Maura.

She explained,"I think we’re so similar in so many ways, like our views and stuff – but I don’t know if I could handle her, she’s very high maintenance, but I guess I am too!"

Megan's admission comes a month after Maura announced she and fellow islander, Chris Taylor were parting ways.

Does this mean Maura's officially back on the market?

We've got our fingers crossed for you, Megan.
