OG Love Islander Megan Barton-Hanson has opened up about how she handles break ups and what happened when Scott Disick slid into her DMs.

During a recent game of Spill The Tea, the star got seriously candid, touching on everything from why she's so open with her followers to whether she'd do anything on the show differently now. "I wouldn't change anything... I'm so grateful for the platform and use my voice," Megan said.

"There was never anyone in the media when I was growing up who would speak openly about female pleasure and periods so I'm so thankful that I've got that platform. It's snowballed for me. But I kind of wish I handled the break up [from Wes Nelson, six months after the show] differently.

"Everything was being scrutinised but I was fiercely protective and loyal. People questioned the relationship and my motives, so when it broke down... I could have handled that more level-headedly and grown-up I think."

Megan then gave an insight into what happened when Scott Disick slid into her DMS back in November 2020. "I heard through the grapevine that Eyal [Booker] is dating Scott Disick's girlfriend's sister. Maybe it came up in conversation why Eyal got voted off [of Love Island.]

"The Lord himself slid [into my DMs] and as a true Kardashian fan I was absolutely estatic. I was like 'Oh my god I might feature on the next season!' But he slid in just to give me so much abuse about the way I treated Eyal. It was kind of shocking."

You might remember Megan and Eyal called things off in the villa when she questioned how compatible they are, before coupling up with Wes.
