While it might be too early for your first mince pie of the year, you can slyly enjoy the flavours of the iconic festive bake in these brand new McVitie's Digestives. While they look like a standard Milk Chocolate Digestive they are in fact mince pie flavoured and available now.

Enjoy the dreamy combination of digestives biscuit and silky-smooth milk chocolate that you know and love, with a sprinkling of festive magic from the mince pie flavour! The seasonal Gingerbread Flavour Milk Chocolate Digestives are also making a return to the shelves ahead of Christmas 2021.

Instagram page SweetReviewsUK seemed pretty impressed with the new biscuit, writing; "The aroma as soon as you open the pack hits you with Mince pie filling, spices and currants, and the flavour off even better! A really well rounded profile of Mince Pie we thought these were great! "

Jonathan Bull, Marketing Director - Seasonal, Cake & Chocolate at McVitie’s said in the press release: "For many people, this Christmas will be extra important as a result of dampened celebrations last December, which is why we’re announcing our new Mince Pie Flavour Chocolate Digestives are on shelves from now.

"A mince pie is a quintessentially British Christmas treat so we hope this new biscuit will kick start the festive celebrations and satisfy people’s desire for it at whatever time of year they like, without facing the judgement of any September scrooges.

You can pick both flavours up for just £1 in Asda and shoppers can also look forward to the return of popular holiday products including the McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Christmas Pole and McVitie’s Victoria, a Christmas biscuit assortment.

Mince Pie Flavour Milk Chocolate Digestives (243g, RSP: £1.59) and Gingerbread Flavour Milk Chocolate Digestives (243g, RSP: £1.59) are both available in supermarkets and convenience stores now and currently on offer for £1 in Asda.
