McVities just announced two brand new festive flavours of their classic milk chocolate digestive in time for Christmas.
The two new festive editions come in gingerbread and Christmas pudding flavour – which both sound incredible alongside a glass of mulled wine (too early?)
The photo, captioned, “Chrimbo Digestives coming soon 👀 🎄” took off quicker than you can say “pass the biccies” (obviously).
While the majority of commenters were getting especially excited about the gingerbread flavour, a few were freaking out at how quickly Christmas seems to be rolling around.
Yes, it’s August. No, we’re not sorry about getting excited over Christmas foods.
We don't know exactly when or where these new festive biscuits will be available but, fingers crossed, the answers are "very soon" and "everywhere".
This isn’t the first time this year that McVities has graced our lives with some reinvented versions of the classic milk chocolate digestive, either. The biscuit legends released three new chocolate biscuit flavours back in January. Cherry bakewell, marmalade on toast and – our personal favourite – strawberries and cream versions of the iconic digestive went down extremely well and the fans went absolutely wild – so these new festive flavours taste like Christmas come early. Literally.
Basics, if we don’t get to try some soon, we think we might burst.
Although it might still feel a bit early to be getting ready for Christmas 2020, loads of companies and supermarkets are already announcing their festive creations. If anything, McVities is late to the party…

Aldi’s new Giant Ferrero Rocher dessert is getting us all types of excited for the colder months to start setting in, while these new Christmas Cookie Centre M&Ms are DEFO going straight in our stockings
Basically, the chocolate that is coming out of 2020 right now might actually turn this year around…
