McDonald's Is Scrapping Seven Menu Items From Tomorrow Including The Big Tasty

·2-min read

As much as we love hearing of a brand-new release from McDonald's, it's always bitter-sweet. Sure, they're absolutely fantastic while they last (scrap that, they're utterly sensational) but there's always the dread of them... well, leaving. And unfortunately for us, we've just caught wind of some bad news.

McDonald's is axing not one, not two – but seven items from its menu, and you've only got until the end of today (26 April) to wrap up any cravings.

Yep! The iconic Big Tasty which only graced McDonald's restaurants in March, is moving on. Along with the delicious Creme Egg McFlurry, Big Tasty with Bacon, Big Tasty BBQ, Chilli Cheese Bites, Homestyle Crispy Chicken burger and Caramel McFlurry.

Seven glorious menu additions, soon to be gone... But, it's not all bad news!

From 27 April until 7 June, you'll instead be able to get your hands on The McSpicy (yes, it's back and better than ever), The Grand Big Mac, The Grand Big Mac with Bacon, Cheesy Garlic Bites, Flake Raspberry and Flake Chocolate McFlurries. Told you it wasn't all bad!

The McSpicy rejoins the menu, featuring a spicy breaded chicken breast fillet, cooling lettuce and creamy mayo for the ultimate treat.

If the news of some of our favourite menu items being dropped wasn't already enough, we've only just recently discovered that McDonald's in Italy sell single-serve packs of Parmigiano Reggiano. Yes, Parmigiano Reggiano.

Thanks to @_amberjs on TikTok, it turns out that one of the snacks on McDonald's Italian menu is quite literally a bite-sized block of parm, and we're chomping at the bits. Dubbed a pocket cheese, we can't stop picturing ourselves walking around the beautiful streets of Milan with nothing but a block of parm in our hands...
