It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas - and taste a lot like it too. We may still be in early November, but Christmas food and drink offerings are already making a welcome appearance. McDonald's is the latest chain to jump on the early festive food bandwagon with a brand new Christmas menu, and we can safely say we're very much here for a lot all of it.

If it's savoury you're after, there's something for everyone. Back by popular demand, the cheese melt dippers filled with Camembert and served with a tangy tomato dip are perfect for sharing and could actually leave you feeling a little bit posh.

If it's meat you want, McDonald's is launching a Double Big Mac (yes, that's four patties) and a brand new Jamaican Jerk Chicken Sandwich that's made up of two pieces of succulent crispy chicken with a spicy jerk sauce, Beechwood smoked bacon, Pepper Jack cheese, slivered onion and lettuce in a sourdough bun. It doesn't exactly scream Christmas, but it does scream absolutely delicious.

Finally, as we move on to drinks, it's fair to say the fast-food restaurant is attempting to give Starbucks a run for its money. The new Salted Caramel Latte is described as "a deliciously warm festive flavour" and a "hug in a mug".

But we've saved the best for last, because it's now time to say hello to the Celebrations McFlurry. The delicious soft dairy ice cream is mixed with Maltesers clusters, Galaxy chocolate drops, Caramel pieces, Mars Nuggets and Twix biscuits and is topped with a milk chocolate sauce. You can get a regular sized one for £1.39 or a mini size for 99p. We know what size we'll be ordering...

The new McDonald's Christmas menu is launching in restaurants, on UberEATS and Just Eat from Wednesday 18th November, for a limited time only. Due to current government restrictions, customers will only be able to purchase items on the menu via delivery or drive-thru services.
