Ok, so it's probably not the healthiest snack to feast on regularly, but if you aren't allowed to have a burger every now and then, especially if you've been putting the hard HIIT work in, then when are you? Just remember, everything in moderation.
Knowing this, McDonald’s has launched its very own triple cheeseburger.
The burger is made up of – you guessed it – three beef patties, as well as three slices of cheese. There’s also mustard, ketchup, onions and gherkins in there. So, you can still pick those out if that’s your jam. It’s very much not my jam, but you do you.
It was first trialled in 60 restaurants across the UK back in February. But obviously, everyone loved it, so it's being put on the McDonald's menu permanently. You can grab one as of Wednesday 2 September for £2.19.
The triple cheeseburger was previously on the menu in 1994 to celebrate the World Cup, but back then, it was known as the Hat Trick, according to BurgerLad.
