McDonald’s in the UK have finally started re-opening, and we’ve never been happier. Yes, the drive-thru queues are long, and there’s only a limited menu available for now, but it’s still dreamy to have Big Macs and fries back in our lives.
But the guys in Australia have it even better right now, because McDonald’s Down Under has just launched a new extra cheesy, extra gooey, extra melty, extra oozy burger.
As part of its new Cheesy range, McDonald’s Australia has launched a Cheesy Beef Burger and a Cheesy Chicken Burger. Both feature a meat patty as well as a breadcrumbed mozzarella patty. Fried meat and fried cheese? Sold.
McDonald’s Australia shared the exciting news on its Instagram by posting a video of the full range. It was captioned: “How delicious does our new Cheesy Beef burger look?! 😉 Our new Cheesy Range are your Macca’s favourites, only cheesier! With 100% Aussie beef or chicken, each burger comes with a golden Mozzarella patty and tomato chilli jam. Share one with a mate today, along with Mozzarella Sticks on the side! But only for a limited time!”
That’s right… Mozzarella Sticks as well. God, Aussies are so lucky – they get great weather AND McDonald’s Cheesy range.
We asked McDonald’s UK if there’s any chance we might see all this cheesy goodness on our menu any time soon but alas, there are no plans to release the Cheesy range in the UK.
2020 just keeps getting worse and worse.
