McDonald’s knows what the nation wants. We want extra McNuggets, we want vegan meals, and we want to never have to speak to another human ever again.

With this in mind, the fast food restaurant has announced that it's launching table service in its restaurants.

So you know how Wetherspoons’ app allows you to turn up, sit down and order drinks straight to your table? And you can continue to do that all night, meaning you never have to get up, except to use the toilet (well, most people in Wetherspoons get up to use the toilet. But not everyone…).

Well the McDonald’s app will allow you to do the same – but instead of ordering a jug of Woo Woo, you’ll be able to get Big Macs, McFlurries, fries and much, much more delivered straight to you so you can feel all boujee.

Launching this December across restaurants nationwide, McDonald’s has put table numbers on every table in all the restaurants. So, now all you have to do is get the app. The My McDonald’s App can be downloaded for Apple or Android phones here.

So, tell us – will you be ordering the new vegan meal to your table when it launches in January?

Maccies’ first ever vegan meal is all about the Veggie Dippers. They’re made with red pepper, rice, sundried tomato pesto and split peas, and are surrounded by light and crispy breadcrumbs. They’ve been accredited by The Vegan Society and everything!

Customers will be able to order the dippers a part of a meal with Vegan Society approved fries and a soft drink. This meal will set you back £4.99. They’ll also be available as part of a Happy Meal following the success of the first vegetarian Happy Meal earlier this year. A Veggie Dippers Happy Meal (which includes the dippers, a vegan side of your choice – either vegetable bag, fruit bag or fries – and water or a Fruit Shoot) will cost £2.99.
