McDonald’s has just announced the return of its tasty chicken wraps! The Crispy Sweet Chilli Chicken and the Crispy BBQ & Bacon Wraps are officially back on the menu from 29 July.
But the good news doesn't end there: McDonald's fans will be able to get the sweet chilli wrap for £1.99 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Plus, the BBQ wrap will be available for the same price on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and it's all thanks to the Wrap Of The Day deal.
The McDonald's limited menu is really starting to look like its old self again.
When McDonald’s started reopening for takeaways, including its drive-thrus, it was only able to offer a limited number of its menu items. This was to make sure the fast food franchise was sticking to government guidelines on social distancing.
As well as the newly-added wraps, the items on McDonald's limited menu are:
- Mayo Chicken
- Bacon Mayo Chicken
- Hot Chocolate
- Bacon Double Cheeseburger
- Happy Meal Organic Milk
- Big Mac
- Quarter Pounder With Cheese
- Double Cheeseburger
- McChicken Sandwich
- Chicken Selects
- Chicken Nuggets
- Veggie Dippers
- Happy Meal
- Fruit Bags
- Hot and cold drinks
Last month, McDonalds started serving breakfast again, which was music to many, many Maccas fans.
But unfortunately, like the regular menu, the breakfast menu has had to be downsized to include only a handful of items.
In an email to customers, chief executive officer for McDonald's UK and Ireland, Paul Pomroy, said: “As with our main menu, we will have a limited menu at breakfast, but we’ve kept the classics – hash browns, McMuffins and pancakes all return.
“Unfortunately, whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines, we are unable to serve porridge, bagels and our Breakfast Wrap.”
