The extravagant burger is made up of four 100% beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion and pickles and of course not forgetting the unbeatable, tasty Big Mac sauce.
Last time the Double Big Mac was on the McDonald's UK menu, folk did have one complaint though. Not enough cheese.
According to a number of Maccas fans, despite the fact that there’s double the amount of meat, there’s still only the same amount of cheese as a regular Big Mac. I’m hardly a genius, but the maths is all wrong on this - even I know that.
Last year, Darren Izzard commented on Twitter, “One slice of cheese? Nah, that’s not working for me.” While Sammie Jo commented: “Be alright if that top burger wasn't going to be dry as hell. No sauce or cheese on them.”

Eek. Not enough sauce either?
So, fingers crossed the guys at McDonald's have taken the minimal cheese into consideration this time around...
Anyway, as well as the Big Mac being back on the menu, there are also two other fan-favourites making very welcome returns.
First up, the Crunchie McFlurry is back and it's better than ever. Well, it's the same as usual, but we're trying to bring the drama, okay? Plus Nacho Cheese Wedges are back too. These are nacho cheese and spicy jalapeños covered in a crunchy coating and served with a sour cream and chive dip. Yum.
You can order these bad boys from 6 October.
