If there’s one thing you can rely on in these difficult times, it’s a cheeky McDonald’s to lift your spirits.

Alas, McDonald’s is closed for all eating in right now, but if you can convince your dad to take you to your nearest drive-thru, or even better, get him to pay for a McDonald’s delivery, you’re going to want to order one of Maccas’ new chicken burgers!

McDonald’s menu has today (10th February) been updated with six new items – some returning favourites and some brand-new menu items, including the Homestyle Crispy Chicken burger.

The exciting new chicken option is made up of a chicken breast in a crispy coating, smothered with a hot and spicy mayonnaise and caramelised onion compote, lettuce, bacon, red onions, and cheese.

We told you it was exciting!

As well as the Homestyle Crispy Chicken burger joining the menu, the Grand Bic Mac is back – either with or without bacon. In case you’d forgotten, the Grand Big Mac is the same as a Big Mac, it’s just far bigger. And you just can’t argue with that.

You’ll also be glad to hear Mozzarella Dippers are back on the menu as well as not one, but TWO returning McFlurry flavours: Cadbury Flake and Cadbury Raspberry Flake.

McDonald’s for lunch then, is it? Best let your dad know to get his shoes on…
