- Maura Higgins is keen to let people know her and Chris Taylor are simply just friends.
- It comes after the former Love Island stars reportedly spent the weekend together at her flat.
But let's make it clear guys, her latest rumoured romance with villa co-star Chris Taylor is purely "platonic."
According to Maura's reps, the 29-year-old reality star and Chris are just friends, despite reportedly spending the weekend together in her flat.
The two - who first sparked a friendship on the ITV2 dating show - were spotted enjoying a meal with Chris’ flatmates Jordan Hames and Michael Griffiths last week.
And the fun certainly didn't stop there, with the pair reportedly heading back to her flat in Essex afterwards.
It's said they were heard "chatting away" on Maura’s patio on Sunday (June 14), with Chris later leaving the next day - in exactly the same clothes!
"Chris looked bleary-eyed but he definitely had a spring in his step. He skipped to his car," an onlooker told the publication.
Since then, the pair have been spotted together on Instagram in recent days. Sounds pretty cosy to us!
Chris previously split with Harley Brash just weeks after leaving the villa, while Maura called it quits with Curtis at the beginning of March.
The professional dancer recently opened up on their breakup, explaining he was gutted the news went public so quickly.
"It hurt. I wasn't ready for everyone to know we had split up — I wanted some time," the 24-year-old told The Sun.
Speaking of whether he was ready to date again yet, Curtis insisted he wouldn't be giving romance a try until the pandemic lockdown was over. "I'm very old-fashioned," he explained. "I don't actually like talking to people over a mobile phone or laptop. I'm a very sociable person. I like to be with somebody and talk to them."
Maura shared the news of their split on Instagram Stories back in March. She wrote at the time, "Curtis and I have made the decision to separate.
"We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship."
She added: "There is no easy way to get through a breakup and no bad feeling on either side. We tried to make it work but it wasn't to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future."
We're sure you will both find your perfect matches soon.
