Matt Baker will be welcoming viewers into his life on his farm in Durham in a new TV series.

The former One Show host confirmed the exciting news of his Our Farm In The Dales
show on Instagram, sharing a video clip of himself in his car with his beloved border collie Bob on his lap.

"Exciting news everybody, we're filming a new series, " Matt began in the clip. "Everyone always asks me, 'what are you filming next on television?', well this is a big one. Because it's based on our family farm, our whole family is in it, our animals are in it.

"It's in the edit at the moment so I'll keep you posted. But what I can say, is that it's coming soon on More4."

Matt added the caption: "Welcome to ‘Our Farm In The Dales’ Big news - I’ve filmed a series back on our farm in Durham with all our animals and my family! It's been brilliant. I can’t wait for you all to see the place I grew up, its been great fun as I’ve also produced and directed it.. I’ll keep you posted but as a heads up it's coming to More4 soon."

More4, the channel provided by Channel 4, primarily focuses on lifestyle shows.

The Countryfile presenter has been sharing insights into his life on his farm with wife Nicola Mooney on social media, introducing his followers to the many lovely animals that live with them or on their land.

He left BBC's The One Show last year in order to spend more time at home with his family - he and Nicola have two children, Luke and Molly. The family currently lives in a farmhouse in Hertfordshire.

Matt previously said: "I'm continuing with Countryfile and BBC Sport and excited about other opportunities that come my way but most of all I’m looking forward to having dinner with my family and being able to put my kids to bed."

We can't wait to watch the new series!
