The final of the current series of MasterChef was set to air on BBC One at 8.30pm on Friday 9 April with Tom Rhodes, Mike Tomkins and Alexina Anatole in competition to be crowned the winner of this year’s MasterChef. But along with the likes of The One Show, EastEnders, The Great British Menu, and other entertainment series, it wasn't shown so as to clear the BBC’s schedule for ongoing coverage of the Duke Of Edinburgh’s death.
