Master of None season 3 featuring Aziz Ansari will premiere on Netflix in May
The long-awaited third season of actor-comedian Aziz Ansari’s Master of None will premiere on Netflix in May 2020.
The streaming platform is yet to confirm the official release date of the series, but it did include the show in its preview of next month’s new film and TV additions on Twitter.
This is a surprising announcement as the show’s last season aired in 2017.
As indicated by IndieWire, the show is set to return with a five-episode season that will run under the title Master of None Presents: Moments in Love.
The season is expected to zero in on Lena Waithe’s character, Denise.
Past reports by Chortle show that season three is shot in London and The End of the F**ing World’s actor Naomi Ackie will join the cast as Dev’s new love interest.

Ansari and Waithe won an Emmy award for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy for the subsequent season. The Parks actor likewise won another Emmy in this category for the first season of the show along with Alan Yang.
The last scene of season two ended in uncertainty, with Dev and Francesca [played by Alessandra Mastronardi] on the verge of separating after she got rid of her engagement ring.
“‘I don’t know if we’re going to do a season three. I wouldn’t be surprised if I needed a long break before I could come back to it,” Ansari told Vulture in 2017.
“I’ve got to become a different guy before I write a third season, is my personal thought, I’ve got to get married or have a kid or something. I don’t have anything else to say about being a young guy being single in New York eating food around town all the time,” he said.
