Masked Tom Cruise tearing up Rome in new shots from 'Mission: Impossible 7' set
Tom Cruise is back behind the wheel, and back behind the mask, in new shots from the Mission: Impossible 7 set in Rome.
Cruise's secret agent Ethan Hunt was spinning his wheels yesterday at the city's iconic Piazza Venezia, in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
In the scene, he's also seen handcuffed to co-star Hayley Atwell, in her thus-far undisclosed role.
Avengers star Atwell, who director Christopher McQuarrie has called 'a destructive force of nature', also stuck a snap with her 'new driving instructor' on her Instagram page.
Cruise later approached fans – masked up, of course – to pose for some pictures.

The Rome shoot appears to be pretty action packed, with the crew having been in the city for more than week now, suggesting the stunt scenes will be pretty involved and heavily choreographed.
Cruise was spied in another slightly less high-performance motor filming scenes last week – a classic yellow Fiat 500.
McQuarrie's movie returned to Italy in October, after becoming one of the first major movies to call a halt to filming in March, due to the growing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.
The movie's shoot in Venice was curtailed, as the entire Veneto and Lombardy regions became some of the first in Europe to be locked down, an unprecedented move at the time.

Filming then resumed in Norway in early October, with Cruise performing a death-defying motorbike stunt.
The movie, originally set for release in November, 2021, will now on 4 November, 2022.
