The Masked Singer's Davina McCall has shared who she has in mind for an upcoming guest judging spot.

The presenter currently serves as a judge on the singing contest together with singer Rita Ora, broadcaster Jonathan Ross and comedian Mo Gilligan, who took over from Community's Ken Jeong in 2020. They are often joined by guest panellists during the series.

Asked who would be perfect for the role, McCall — who also features on spin-off The Masked Dancer — said she would love to see presenting duo Ant and Dec guessing who's wearing those flamboyant costumes.

"It's got to be someone who gets the madness of it," she told OK! magazine.

"We had Stephen Mulhern on the new series and he was joyous, because he just kept going, 'What is going on? This is the weirdest programme I have ever worked on!'

"I think Ant and Dec would find it hilarious, so they would be great."

In the meantime, Ant and Dec will host a new season of Saturday Night Takeaway following their stint in the Australian jungle presenting I'm a Celebrity.

The duo will also be back for a new series of their quiz show Ant & Dec's Limitless Win, which has received a number of small tweaks to its format ahead of its return this weekend.

The Masked Singer and The Masked Dancer air on ITV1 and ITVX.
