Married At First Sight star Nikita Jasmine has taken to social media to defend the "unacceptable" behaviour that reportedly saw her removed from the show. Nikita has posted a statement on Instagram in which she blamed the "hectic" filming schedule for her actions and told fans to "see the bigger picture."

Nikita, who was paired with Ant at the start of the show, reportedly behaved "unacceptably" while filming one of the dinner party scenes, according to a MAFSUK rep. A statement from Channel 4 explained that Nikita "displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour."

As a result Nikita was reportedly asked to leave the show, and according to Channel 4 apologised for her actions. However the 26-year-old has since taken to Instagram to defend her behaviour, citing the demanding filming schedule as a factor.

"Nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors, this dinner party took around 12 hours to film, it was a hectic day, nobody got to see the real deal. I’ll always have my girls backs even if it’s not reciprocated unfortunately. A lot of us created close bonds off camera. See the bigger picture people. I’ll be back tomorrow 9pm on the dot."

Nikita then followed up with a statement on her Instagram Story saying that she wasn't asked to leave the show at all, but rather chose to leave the dinner party that evening.

However a statement from Channel 4 (via Metro) which was released yesterday reads;

"The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond. During filming, a situation escalated off camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour.

"As a result, she was asked to leave the experiment. All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved."

Nikita’s departure will apparently be aired in tonight's episode [9 September] on E4.
