Married At First Sight UK star Charlie’s TV past exposed after she was on major reality show
Married At First Sight UK has kicked off this week and Charlie Curtis, a lettings operation coordinator from Surrey, is one of the singletons saying 'I Do' at the alter in the hopes of finding love.
However, this isn't the 30-year-old's first TV rodeo, as she appeared alongside stars such as TOWIE's Junaid Ahmed on the 2022 Amazon Prime dating show Lovestruck High. The show followed 15 British singletons as they went to a typical 'American High School' setting - including cheerleading, camp, and prom - in an attempt to find love.

The show was narrated by US megastar Lindsey Lohan and saw Charlie make it to episode eight, but hasn't yet had a second season. After the show, Charlie said she was 'open' to more TV work, something which clearly led her to MAFS. I love to talk to people, chat to people, I think I just want to maybe raise some money for charities and do stuff to help other people, that’s sort of where I want to go in my journey," she said at the time.
“I love to talk to people, chat to people, I think I just want to maybe raise some money for charities and do stuff to help other people, that’s sort of where I want to go in my journey,” she told Reality Titbit.
In scenes airing this week, Charlie will meet her wife - fitness instructor Eve - at the altar in the hopes of building a strong connection throughout the series. "I’m at the age now where I want to settle down," Charlie has said of her reasoning for joining the experiment.
But before any weddings got underway, Charlie found herself in a war of words with fellow participant Alex during the cast's stag do.
Despite having not met his wife yet, groom Alex Henry could be seen questioning what would happen if he wasn't attracted to the woman he'd been matched with and found himself interested in somebody else during the experiment.
The other contestants weren't impressed with Alex's comments and tension soon rose between them all behind the scenes. Alex, 28, who has been single for seven months, said: "What if I am not totally attracted to my wife? And there is another lady that I am attracted to?"
Clearly unhappy with his comments, Charlie hit back: "So go and be single yourself outside of this experiment then!" as the pair got embroiled in a heated exchange.
