Married at First Sight fans left fuming with star's 'savage' comment to experts
Married at First Sight UK fans have been left fuming with one participant’s savage comment at the first commitment ceremony of the season. Despite the couples not having had long to get to know each other, the series has not been short of drama within the first couple of weeks.
The participants headed to their first commitment ceremony on Thursday night’s episode, after a dramatic dinner party the night before. However, there was one couple that had all of Twitter talking. Caspar and Emma tied the knot during the first week, although it was clear Caspar wasn’t happy straight away, claiming Emma reminded him of his sister.
Throughout the honeymoon, Caspar made no secret that he ‘wasn’t attracted’ to his match, with fans calling him out on X, formerly known as Twitter for joining the show. “Why the hell did Caspar come on this show if sexual attraction was his main priority and then complain he was paired with a curvy girl??? If looks matter that much why take part in a blind experiment,” penned one.

The 34-year-old then took it one step further at tonight’s commitment ceremony, appearing to take a swipe at the experts, as he exclaimed: “I don't understand and I don't get it and it's really frustrating because this is my life you're f*****g with.”
However, expert Paul C Brunson wasn’t having any of it, as he told Caspar: “No one that questions their match unless their not psychically attracted. If physical attraction is high, you look for all the reasons why you are a match, and if not vice versa.”
Explaining why the couple had been matched, the Celebs Go Dating expert said they have the same exact disorganised attachment style, meaning they exhibit a little of all three. “There’s many different levels that add up to not only why you should be together but why you are strong.”
Viewers on X, formerly known as Twitter were left fuming with his comments, as one penned: “Caspar needs humbling respectfully.”
“What I'm getting from Casper, is that he's A) selfish and B) talking about Emma as if she's an object, how about he works on that? His life isn't the only one being messed about with,” wrote a second.
A third questioned: “'I don't understand how this process got me to Emma.' Pardon? Who the did he expect to walk down the isle? Beyonce Knowles?”
Some viewers agreed that the experts pairing hasn’t been the best this year as one wrote: “As much as I dislike Caspar the experts do need to hear that their matching has been abysmal.”
"I'm NOT a Caspar fan BUT it's about time someone called the 'experts' out if they really can't understand why they've been matched with their partner!" another exclaimed.
Despite Caspar’s comments, he and Emma both decided to stay in the experiment to work on their relationship, as did the rest of the couples.
