Back in February 2019, Marks & Spencer launched a £39.50 pair of slingback shoes that looked a lot like the iconic Chanel design.

The difference? Well, approximately £620 worth of difference, but otherwise — as many fashion bloggers noted at the time — it would take a professional to tell the difference between the Chanel pair and the high street dupe.

Unsurprisingly, the shoes sold out almost immediately, and again when M&S relaunched them in the summer.

But don't worry if you didn't manage to get your hands, or feet on them, the first few times around, because the supermarket have finally brought the perfect spring heels back into stock — and they're still available in most sizes.

Perfectly suited to jeans, summer dresses and smart workwear attire (once the Zoom era comes to an end and we return to the office), the block heels are surprisingly supportive and stylish all in one neat package.

Swift shoppers who have already purchased M&S’s Chanel slingback dupes are clearly impressed, with almost 100 5-star ratings online speaking for themselves.

"Amazing designer dupes, great quality and style especially for the price,' one reviewer wrote, adding that they’re 'amazing paired more casually with straight leg jeans and blazer."

Another fashion-forward shopper added: "Great classic style look even better on, nice fit and a good height for comfort."
