With red carpets and award shows off the cards for the past year (and rightfully so), one thing we've missed is our usual feed of celebrity hair and make-up inspiration.

Gone might be the days of stalking the best Oscars eye make-up, or deciding which extra Met Gala hairstyle we'll be attempting to recreate, but thankfully the A-list are still providing us with beauty inspiration, even if we'll be rocking our new look while working from home.

Flexing her hair chameleon skills this week is Margot Robbie, aka the woman that looks epic with almost any hair colour and make-up combo.

The 30-year-old was spotted on set for her new film with director David O.Russell working a moody new brunette look in place of her signature golden blonde lengths.

Robbie looked seriously sophisticated with her new dark brown hair that was set in classic, Hollywood-style, side-parted waves and complemented the actor's newly dark eyebrows and dramatic make-up.

Although the film project is currently untitled, the movie marks the return to directing for filmmaker O.Russell and is based on an 'original idea' according to Deadline. Robbie is part of a star-studded cast, with Christian Bale, Robert De Niro, Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana and John David Washington all on board for the project.

This isn't the first time the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor has become a brunette, opting for similar glossy chocolate brown waves for the 2014 Oscars.

Whether Robbie's new look is a temporary wig for her latest film role, or a more permanent situation as in previous years is still unclear, but what we do know is the Australian always looks stunning, whether she's blonde, brunette or figure skater Tonya Harding...
