Maren Morris Responds to 'Prudes' Who Criticized Her Wardrobe

Country star Maren Morris is over the apparent criticism she's received for the way she dresses. The singer tweeted what appeared to be a response to negative comments on Saturday.

"Hey, while prudes are bitching about my clothes, let's make babies. :)," Morris captioned a photo of herself with fiancé Ryan Hurd.

"I'm a self-sufficient woman who loves her body. Get over it, thanks. :)," she wrote in a subsequent tweet.

It's unclear what "shaming" she's referring to, or which, if any, outfit choice was specifically criticized, though the "My Church" singer frequently wears midriff-baring ensembles such as the one she wore to the 2017 ACM Honors that aired on CBS last week, a shimmery bralette and high-waisted skirt.
