The good news for brides is that weddings are back on, as life slowly but surely returns to normal.

And with the return of weddings, comes the return of the pressure to find The One, and by that I mean the one wedding dress that sets your heart a flutter.

Thankfully for brides the world over, New York-based couture brand Marchesa has unveiled its debut wedding dress collaboration with leading bridal brand Pronovias and it’s bursting with dresses fit for a princess.

The 21-dress line, which was inspired by the Spanish city of Seville, features Marchesa’s signature form-fitting ethereal silhouettes in a bevy of silks, tulle and lace as well as a series of matching veils.

The collection was born two years ago when Georgina Chapman, Marchesa’s co-founder, took her brand’s bridal range to Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, the wedding industry’s leading event held in Pronovias’s hometown. After a meeting of the minds, the idea for a collaboration was born.

“In Pronovias we have found the perfect partner aligning with our core values of craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail, along with unmatched bridal expertise,” Chapman says, “I could not be more thrilled by our partnership, and with the global reach of Pronovias, we look forward to bringing these romantic and feminine designs to brides worldwide.”

For those nervous about the price tag that may accompany a Marchesa wedding dress, they can rest assured as the brands have aligned their price point for the collection, with the cheapest in the range starting at £2,000.

Marchesa x Pronovias will arrive in stores worldwide in April, with dates varying by city and their stages of lockdown.
