Mandatory Evacuations as Orange County's Bond Fire Hits 2,000 Acres

A wildfire in Orange County’s Silverado Canyon, named the Bond Fire, had grown to 2,000 acres early on December 3, prompting a number of mandatory evacuation orders from the local fire authority.

The blaze began with a house fire, and was threatening structures in Silverado Canyon and Williams Canyon. More than 240 firefighters were on hand, the Orange County Fire Authority said.
