A MAN in his 30s has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a head-on crash in Larkhill.

It happened close to the garrison church of St Alban the Martyr at the Packway, Larkhill at approximately 3am this morning, (Saturday, March 25).

The seriously injured man was a passenger in a taxi which was involved in the accident and he was taken to Southampton General Hospital.

Three other men in their 20s,30s and 40s were taken to Salisbury District Hospital with what are considered minor injuries.

A collision investigation is being carried out and the road through Larkhill is likely to be closed for several hours.

The police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and for anyone with dashcam footage to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597 quoting log number 29 and today’s date.
