Man killed after being repeatedly stabbed in street as four people attacked across London in seven hours

London saw yet another day of violence yesterday as four people were stabbed in separate incidents within just seven hours.

One of the victims became the 30th murder victim in the capital this year.

A 21-year-old man was knifed to death in an attack by a group of men in High Street, Harlesden, on Tuesday night.

The victim ran into a bookmakers at around 9pm to get help.

An ambulance was called and he was taken to hospital but was pronounced dead just after 2.45am. His family have been told.

Seven men have been arrested in connection with the death.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said the force's murder squad has been informed.

Police were earlier called to a fight at 3pm in West Drayton, Hillingdon, which resulted in the stabbing of a person, whose condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

Three people were arrested over the stabbing.

A 28-year-old was also found with stab injuries on Preston Road, Wembley, near to a Tesco Express, at 6.33pm.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

At 10pm, a man was found with stab wounds in Morden Road, Mitcham, in the south of the capital.
