Malibu Has Launched A Watermelon Flavour And The Cocktail Possibilities Are Endless

With spring gently making its presence known, we’re getting all excited about outdoor drinking with our pals. Mostly because that’s the only option we have right now actually, but you see what we’re saying…
And the latest drink that’s got us all riled up for seeing friends and family in gardens, parks and other outdoor spots (where drinking is permitted, of course), is Malibu’s new rum flavour: watermelon.
Watermelon Malibu just sounds right, doesn’t it? In fact, it’s such a match made in Heaven, that we’re actually shocked it’s only just becoming an option to us now.
Up until now, this extra-exotic take on Malibu rum has only been available to our friends across the pond in the US of A. But thanks to @newfoodsuk on Instagram, we now know that Watermelon Malibu is on its way to UK stores. Bottles will be arriving in Asda “very soon”. So keep an eye out.
If watermelon booze is what you’re all about, Absolut has also used the refreshing fruit to flavour its vodka.
Word on the street/Instagram is that Absolut Watermelon is set to launch in UK supermarkets very soon.
According to @johnssnackreviews, the delicious, refreshing watermelon vodka should be on supermarket shelves any day now, and a 700ml bottle will set you back £20.
