Rum is delicious all year round. But we all know it really comes into its own in summer. Pina Coladas, Mojitos and Rum Punches reign supreme in the summer months, and here to throw its hat into the ring is new Malibu Watermelon.

The latest Caribbean rum to join the Malibu family, Malibu Watermelon leaves out the coconut this time and takes iconic fruity summer flavours and packs them into a 70cl bottle 'bursting with tropical flavours' and we can't wait to try it.

Luckily we don't have to....

The new tipple has already landed in Asda and Tesco and costs just £15 a bottle.

While it sounds like it would be a great addition to any cocktail, the recommended serve is topped with ice cold lemonade and garnished with a juicy slice of watermelon of course.

And perfect for picnics, afternoons in the park or days at the beach, the brand has also launched the new rum in ready to drink mixed cans. Malibu Watermelon Lemonade cans are a sparkling blend of the watermelon Caribbean rum complimented with lemon and lime flavours and can be picked up in Tesco and Morrisons.

Now that the sun is shining all we can think about is cocktails and this sounds like a drinks cabinet essential!

Available in a 70cl bottle, Malibu Watermelon is available to buy in Tesco and Asda for an RRP of £15. Cans are available to purchase in Tesco and Morrisons for an RRP of £1.80 each.
