A major new department store has opened in the heart of Leeds city centre.

Flannels has relocated from its former Vicar Lane site to a new home in Briggate. The site, which spans over six floors and 70,000 sq ft, sits alongside the luxury retailer’s London, Leicester, Liverpool, Sheffield and Newcastle stores.

The new store features a luxury accessories hall and beauty hall, as well as a Flannels home addition to its offer. It is understood the company’s 35 staff members have relocated from their former base while an additional 150 jobs would be created in the new store.
