Married At First Sight UK is officially back for a new season, and that means a whole new bunch of contestants are heading down the aisle.

Launching on E4 last night (Monday 29th August), episode one saw us introduced to this year's 16 singles, with couple Chanita and Jordan already hitting it off after tying the knot. Still, it wasn't all good vibes - as there's one contestant who's prompted the same complaint from viewers.

Also paired up in ep one were Whitney and Duka, with 31-year-old Whitney seeming less than impressed with her chosen match.

Following the pair's first meeting, fans were shocked over Whitney's comments about Duka, also 31. She told viewers, "I wanted a man who’s a man that’s towering over me, like massive, like a brick house. Compared to a house, maybe he’s a shed."

Fans were even more surprised as Whitney went on to tell Duka, "I'm in between maybe saying the vows, or maybe, just like, run," adding, "This is the worst thing I’ve ever done in my f***ing life."

The personal assistant also seemed to be unhappy about Duka's vows, telling him, "You don’t know me! It’s a bit of a weird thing to say, isn’t it?" in response to his mentions of love.

Responding to the episode, fans have taken to Twitter to call Whitney out for her comments, with many calling her "rude". One viewer wrote, "Imagine meeting someone’s family for the first time and being that rude!? Whitney is on a WHOLE new level," adding, "Nah Whitney did not just compare Duka to a shed!?"

Meanwhile, others questioned why Whitney had chosen to sign up to the show, with one tweeting, "I don’t see the point in Whitney being in this if she can’t put down her barriers. Give it real go Whitney!"

Another added, "I don't get Whitney’s pure disdain for the whole process of the ceremony when SHE signed up for ALL of this… She was 1000% aware of everything this entailed…what is she doing lool."

Here's hoping these two are able to get along.
