MAFS stars who all broke the rules with new partners while show was still on TV
Over the years, Married At First Sight has had its successes. From Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson to Tayah McCreith and Adam Aveling, the show has seen plenty of couples fall in love after meeting at the altar. In fact, one couple have even found long-lasting success on the show despite their wedding never actually airing.
However, others have had less luck with the show and couples have either split up following recording or have called it quits during the Married At First Sight commitment ceremonies. And with filming taking place months before the show airs, some individuals have been spotted looking loved-up with other people altogether before their romance plays out on screen. Let’s take a look at some of those who’ve debuted their new partners whilst their series was still on…
Eve Reid
It wasn’t to be for Eve Reid and Charlie Curtis on this year’s MAFS, and the pair decided to end the marriage and leave the experiment after a string of clashes following their honeymoon. Although viewers may have only recently seen the duo go their separate ways, back in July Eve appeared to soft launch a relationship as she posted a snap of herself holding someone else’s hand - except it’s not clear whether that hand was Charlie’s or not.

Meanwhile, at the end of September The Sun published a video which showed Eve at an airport with her arms wrapped around another woman.
Brad Skelly
Another person who wasn’t able to find love on the show was Brad Skelly, who was matched with Shona Masterson last year and left the experiment. Prior to the pair’s ending on the show being aired, Brad was spotted with a new partner, Hollie, while at the VIP Scarefest launch at Alton Towers and the pair reportedly were kissing in front of the other MAFS UK cast.
Hollie also appeared to confirm the romance at the time by sharing a picture of them together on social media alongside a padlock emoji. By October, Brad shared a snap of himself with Hollie too.
Ash Galati
It may not be MAFS UK, but Married At First Sight Australia certainly got us talking. On the most recent series, Ash Galati and Madeleine Maxwell had a short-lived relationship after psychic medium Madeleine began having “psychic downloads” and sensed “bad vibes” from Ash.
Wasting no time to debut his new romance, on the day he and Madeleine quit the show, Ash reposted an Instagram Story from his new partner alongside the caption “Favourite”.
Ross McCarthy
Sacha Jones and Ross McCarthy may seem to be on a good path in this year’s MAFS, but eagle-eyed fans have speculated whether they’re still together after noticing Ross had been sharing affectionate messages with someone else on Facebook. According to The Tab, Ross wrote public messages between June and September 2024 to another woman that said “I love you”, “Couple of hours till ya in my arms again” and sharing heart emojis.
