MAFS Australia viewers react to THAT Claire and Jesse moment

Last night’s episode of Married At First Sight Australia might be the most dramatic of this series so far, with fans of the series are sharing their reactions to THAT moment between contestants Jesse Burford and Claire Nomarhas.

The dating show, which sees singletons expertly matched with partners who they meet for the first time on their wedding day, has had arguments, break ups and now, a cheating scandal that has shocked viewers.

On their wedding day, 30-year-old marriage celebrant Jesse and 31-year-old teacher Claire seemed to hit it off instantly when they met at the end of the aisle, but things quickly turned sour after Jesse said he got ‘the ick’ from Claire and the couple argued on their honeymoon.

Their relationship continued to be icy, and after moving in together and an awkward dinner party, Claire and Jesse went on a night out with other contestants including Adam Seed.

That night, Jesse claimed that Claire and Adam were getting cosy and when Claire returned home later that evening after Jesse, he said she was on the phone with Adam.

Both Claire and Adam strongly denied anything happened between them, with Jesse later apologising to them both and admitting to being jealous.

During intimacy week, Claire and Jesse grew closer with him sharing he was starting to develop feelings for her, but during last night’s (28^th March) episode, Claire revealed that her and Adam had kissed on that night out.

"I have broken your trust. That night when we all went out and Adam and I went outside we kissed,” she told Jesse at a new couple's wedding. Now, viewers are taking to Twitter to share their reactions to the reveal.

“So Claire kissed Adam and made Jesse think he was overreacting, insecure and being paranoid. These people are trash,” wrote one shocked viewer. “LOL so Jesse was right all along and she really made him seem like he was crazy smh. I just knew they were lying,” shared another.

“Claire has us all fooled! I believed her when she said nothing happened! Poor Jesse. I can’t believe the show make him out be acting crazy when he had every right!!!” said another. “Claire made Jesse feel like he was crazy about her and Adam when in truth, he wasn’t crazy at all,” another wrote.

Claire was evidently riddled with guilt over the kiss, and tried to show her morality by coming forward, so we'll have to wait and see how the drama unfolds and if Adam will also be held accountable for his actions!
