MAFS Australia’s Alyssa has responded to criticism over relationship with Duncan
Oh, what will we do with our evenings now Married At First Sight Australia is basically over? This season has had cheating, break ups, scandals and more. And now, Alyssa is responding to criticism over her relationship with Duncan.
The couple made it all the way to final vows, but he ended up calling it quits over their differences and communication skills, and now Alyssa is poking fun about her time on the show. Honestly, we are here for it.
In case you missed it, last night’s episode [7th May] saw this season’s brides and grooms reunite a few months after the experiment ended, and while some couples were as loved up as ever (we can’t get over how cute Tahnee and Ollie are!), some exes came to blows - including Alyssa and Duncan.
She accused him of breaking her heart, but he said he tried his best to make the relationship work and it was all very dramatic. Now, months after that explosive reunion was filmed, Alyssa has taken to TikTok to make fun of her time on the show.
In one video, she laughed at herself mentioning her child a lot throughout the season with the caption reading “in case y’all forgot #ihaveachild,” and it was too funny. In another post, she mocked the moment she refused Duncan’s hug at the couples retreat, complete with a hilarious voiceover, a makeshift microphone booth and a jumper that read ‘I need attention’.
Then, she poked fun at the reunion episode (which is airing tonight on E4, BTW!) where her and Duncan sat down with the experts and her crying face was too iconic.
She’s even gone and made merchandise featuring some of her most iconic lines from the series, including ‘I need attention’ and ‘I have a child’, and we’re tempted to buy some.
We’re here for Alyssa having fun and not taking things too seriously!
Married At First Sight Australia is streaming on All4.
