Machine Gun Kelly has admitted to having a Megan Fox poster up in his teenage bedroom. Wow, dreams really do come true.
In a new interview, the singer, who has been dating the actress for over a year, revealed he used to fantasise about being with his now-girlfriend. Real name Colson Baker, 31, the GQ profile revealed:
"Baker was the teenager who got the Decepticons logo from Transformers tattooed on his arm and hung a poster of Megan Fox in his bedroom (at least one classmate recalls him vowing he'd marry her one day). Now he's bringing her onstage during his performance on Indy 500 weekend. 'It was from her GQ shoot,' he goes on to [say]. 'So that's some full-circle shit.'"
That is indeed, full circle stuff.
Megan and MGK met on the set of the upcoming indie film Midnight In The Switchgrass in March 2020, before she later appeared in his music video for 'My Bloody Valentine' by May. By June 2020, the relationship was confirmed when Daily Mail published photographs of them holding hands and kissing after a night spent at Mr. Furley's Bar in Sherman Oaks, California.
Since them, Kelly has said this is the first time he's been in love. "I didn't know what [true love] was until me and her made eye contact," he told Howard Stern's radio show (via E!_. "That's when I was like, 'Whoa.'
"I did fall in love for the first time. That was my first experience with being open to love and stuff like that. I definitely wasn't set up to believe that that's something that could ever exist."
We can only imagine what teenage MGK would say right now.
