M&S's new skincare range targets menopausal skin
If you were asked at what stage your skin has changed the most in your life, you may well think back to your teenage years but actually, the peri-menopause and menopause is when it undergoes the biggest shift.
With oestrogen and progesterone significantly dipping and skin losing up to 30% of collagen in the first five years after menopause begins, people have said it feels like they have aged overnight.
Despite this, when looking around for skincare that specifically targets menopausal skin it has previously been slim pickings but thankfully not anymore. Marks & Spencer and pro-ageing skincare brand Prai have co-created a range for this stage of life called MenoGlow.
Consisting of five products, the new Menoglow line features all the essentials you’d need: the Hot Flush Cool Fix Serum, Collagen Boosting Cremegel Moisturiser, Super Hydrating Sleep Creme, Ultra Rejuvenating Sleep Mask and the Gentle Rebalancing Cleanser.
Speaking of the launch, M&S's skincare, bath and body buyer Rebecca Overton said: “We’re really proud to be launching MenoGlowTM in collaboration with PRAI Beauty – this is the first time that we have joined forces with another brand to develop a new Beauty range, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer a curated line up of targeted skincare solutions that address the specific changes that women often see in their skin during this time, while also encouraging a wider conversation around menopause and the impact it can have on women’s wellbeing.”
The products promise to target the likes of dryness, fine lines, and dullness and already have glowing reviews online.
