Now that we're all spending more time at home than ever before, investing in small luxuries that help make your space feel that bit more relaxing is definitely a must. And it's safe to say that nothing helps us chill out on a winter's evening more than lighting our favourite scented candles, whether we're soaking in the tub or just lying on the sofa.

Scented candles can often end up being a little on the expensive side, however, so you can bet our ears pricked up when we heard about the bestselling scent at trusty Marks & Spencer...

With prices starting at just £7.50 for a single wick candle and ranging up to £29.50 for the extra large, three-wick option, M&S' Calm candles have just shot straight to the top of our winter wish-lists.

The brand has confirmed to Good Housekeeping that the Calm scent from its Apothecary collection is currently its bestseller, and we can definitely see why...

Nestled in chic apothecary-style containers, all three of the Calm candles will help elevate your interiors, while giving off a soothing aroma of sweet orange and lavender essential oils, with added cedar wood for warmth and clary sage for clarity. As the scent's name suggests, this sounds like the ideal fragrance when you're looking to switch off and unwind with spa-worthy vibes.

If you've yet to try it, the Calm scent is a big hit with M&S customers. Indeed, it proved so popular in 2020 that the brand decided to launch all three Calm candles at the end of last year to boost the collection. As well as the candles, the Calm range includes everything from a diffuser and room spray to hand lotion, hand wash and even a hand sanitiser.

We don't know about you but we're planning to stock up now!
