M&S Has Launched A Christmas Sandwich Inspired By Nando’s

·2-min read

There’s no denying it – Marks And Spencer’s Christmas food is some of the best out there. Whether you’re in the market for Christmas lunch staples like turkeys, roast potatoes or pigs in blankets, or you need canapés for that swish Christmas soiree you’re hosting, you can always rely on M&S.

Another festive thing M&S does really well is its Christmas sandwiches. And this year, as well as the classic (The Ultimate Turkey Feast), M&S has also released four brand-new festive sangers for Christmas 2021. And the one we can’t stop thinking about is the Naughty And Spice Turkey Feast.

We get the feeling this new sandwich has been inspired by Nando’s, as it’s a spicy take on your regular turkey sandwich. This roll is made up of Peri-Peri turkey pieces, hot cranberry sauce, chorizo-style pork stuffing, cabbage slaw and tons of tasty mayonnaise.

We tried it during our annual Christmas sandwich taste test recently, and we have to say (in the words of RuPaul), it’s a winner baby!

The Naughty And Spice Turkey Feast will set you back £4.

As well as this Nando’s-inspired number, there are three other new festive sandwiches on offer this year. The Pigs In Blankets sandwich (£3.50) does exactly what it says on the tin. This malted brown bread sandwich is filled with pork sausage and bacon, along with a gravy-style mayo, a sage, port and red onion chutney and caramelised onions.

The Boxing Day Triple (£3.80) is also a triumph, because why have one type of sandwich, when you can have three, right? The three sandwiches included are a turkey with stuffing, ham hock and with piccalilli, and Wensleydale cheese with a carrot and orange chutney (my personal favourite of the three).

And finally – one for our plant-based pals – the No Beef Welly Roll (£4) is delicious. Encased in the tastiest tiger bread roll are ‘No beef’ slices with a mushroom duxelle, pickled vegetables and mustard mayo.

You can pick up any of these festive sarnies from M&S stores now.
