From the arrival of commemorative memorabilia to preparations for upcoming street parties, the build up to the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6 May is well underway.

One of the latest products to mark the occasion is a new scented candle from Marks & Spencer. Priced at £10, the special edition design is part of the brand's 'light up' candle range. To celebrate the coronation, it is decorated with Westminster Abbey and the three King's Guards, as well as a 'God Save the King' banner.

The candle is scented with a refreshing blend of neroli, lime and bergamot and to give it that extra glow, it features LED lights that are switched on by lighting the wick.

When it first went on sale last month, it quickly sold out online. But it's now back in stock!

Others in the 'light up' collection include a London scene and a heart design.

With under three months to go until the official ceremony in May, a range of souvenirs and keepsakes have been launched by brands in the lead up to the big day. Emma Bridgewater's new coronation collection includes mugs, tea towels, napkins and a tea caddy all decorated in honour of King Charles.

If you're looking to make your own coronation keepsake, why not try a craft project like making your own paper crown. It's a great one to get the kids involved with – they can add all sorts of fun embellishments and best of all, they're easy to make at home.
